It’s 8am in the morning and we’re sitting in the airport now, waiting for the boarding call. Just ate a mini-breakfast at the local Au Bon Pain cafe.

Morning started with me jumping up and having — well, almost — a heart attack. You see, Alena created a wall of bags near her side of the bed yesterday. I saw that and told her that she should be careful. Now I realize that what I should’ve done was move the bags.

Anyhow, she woke up in the morning, left the bedroom, then decided to come back for her glasses and tripped over the bags on her way back and landed on the floor with a very loud “Groh!”. Luckily it sounds scarier then it really was.

My dad, who drove us to the airport, said that he sees a tradition forming. Last year I slipped and fell in the shower. This year was Alena’s turn. I should be careful next year. Very very careful.
