In the past couple of days we’ve been raiding Best Buy and expanding our movie collection. We’ve added all of the released seasons of Battlestar Galactica1 and several our top rated movies — Grosse Pointe Blank, Private Parts, Memento, Enemy at the Gate and American Beauty.
We decided to watch most of these again and you can’t do that if you don’t have the movie. Watched The Usual Suspects and Enemy at the Gate in the past several days. It was a pleasure.

Looks like good stuff except for chronicles of riddick, which was a crap-fest (I liked the first one okay). Well, and sadly all the ST:TNG movies were pretty lousy too in my opinion, at least compared with the better episodes in the series. Wish it weren’t the case.

All good choices except The Phantom Menace and maybe the second one; those two need to be vanquished in a good, old DVD burning.

Yeah, most of those are old. We bought only the ones I listed.
Riddick I have for a long time and I really like it a lot. I think it’s better then the first one. I think Alena agrees with this one, but most people do not.
ST:TNG certainly had some really good ones (like First Contact), but they will only work for you if you watched the series themselves. Otherwise you won’t get half the stuff if not more.
And I’m not really sure how I ended up with those Star Wars movies.
I still think they are better then then original ones, but again, a lot of people don’t agree.
