«Verrazano Bridge»

I’ve lived not far from this marvel of engineering for almost 20 years now and I still haven’t taken a good photograph of Verrazano-Narrows Bridge with the lights on. It is the longest suspension bridge in the Americas. After all this time I still enjoy looking at this beautiful location and the bridge itself every time I drive by.

So this past Wednesday after work I loaded up my camera bag with my wide-angle lens, Lee GND filters, grabbed my tripod and went for a short family walk to the “Scenic View” stop right under the bridge. While Arosha was running around I climbed over the fence onto the rocks and took a couple of shots. The perspective distortion was a bit annoying to deal with, but after all the work I think it came out well.
