«Seattle Skyline»

One of the things I wanted to do in Seattle was to take a good photograph of the city’s skyline with its iconic Space Needle. The problem was that the tower itself was located in a different place than the rest of the city’s skyscrapers, and tower alone would not do the trick. Luckily there was just the spot for the right composition.

I literally spent hours staring at this skyline on two separate nights. The first evening was very dark and gloomy. Everything looked too gray. Two days later the sky over the city cleared up and I couldn’t help, but go back.

One thing that I was really looking for was Mount Rainier which can be very well visible from Seattle. But I had no luck with clear sky. However I did luck out with the moon instead.
