«Brooklyn Bridge»

Today we decided to do some more exploring of the city where we have lived for many many years, yet still have places that we haven’t been to. Famous places at that too. We went for a hike over Manhattan Bridge. The pedestrian path happens to run on a side that opens up magnificent views of Brooklyn Bridge along with a construction of Freedom Tower that at this point is already the highest building in New York.

I shot this with my manual 50mm lens at wide open for that specific glow that this lens happens to produce at f/1.2. Day being bright as it is ends up overexposing the photograph quite severely, but that’s when shooting RAW comes in handy.
Brooklyn, New York. July 21, 2012.
