OK, this is not your typical Hollywood movie, so there are many things that leave you with questions rather than answers. But that’s the beauty of it, I guess.
It is mystical, beautiful (I especially liked the scene of Weronika’s concert), erotic, moving. The lead actress, Irene Jacob, was quite wonderful.
The funny thing is that after the movie ended, I thought about Three Colors: Blue, and how it seemed in a way similar to this one. I watched it probably 15 years ago, but I still remember emotional impact it had on me. So what do you know — it was made by the same director, Krzysztof Kieslowski. I am watching his tricolor movies next (I never watched White and Red before). (1)

It’s hard to for me to say. I guess I could understand how the movie is good from the art point of view, but this is just not my type of movie.
