«The Avengers»

My expectations of this movie were pretty low, but after reading about it in Time Magazine and hearing about very positive reviews, I secretly hoped that somehow it’ll exceed them. Nope. Not the case.

The plot was not particularly sophisticated (although better than Avatar, the last movie we watched in the cinema), the jokes weren’t particularly funny, and overall it was just… dull. There were plenty of action scenes (that’s why we wanted to see it on big screen), but I usually find them boring if there is no substance behind. We did not even have anything to discuss afterwards. (2)

Yeah, I have to agree with Alena. I don’t understand what all the fuss is about. It was OK, it wasn’t boring and it had a couple of funny moments. And that’s it.

Same here! We left with comments: “Yeah, it was ok but not great” I loved the last Mission Impossible much more.
