«Date Levitation»

This is my little tribute to the special date of the calendar — 11/11/11. As I said before this type of date happens only once a century. The only folks who had it cooler were the dudes who happened to live 900 years ago.

As far as the photography itself goes — the levitation trick is rather simple. Put the camera on a tripod and switch it to manual focus and exposure. Take a shot of the blocks laying on a flat chair. Remove the chair and take a 2nd shot. Mask the chair out in Photoshop. Here is the shot with no masks.
