I managed to actually catch Arosha smiling and laughing over this weekend on “film”. It’s another important skill that he mastered well enough at this point to demonstrate to a wider audience.
And don’t forget to check out that hair-do. Arosha seems to actually be growing some hair. It’s still a while until he really needs a hair comb, but it’s better than nothing.

And here we are just before going to the doctor. Yes, I just woke up. No, Arosha never sleeps. Kidding. He actually woke up only 3 times this night. By our standards that’s pretty darn good.

Today Arosha-gorosha is turning 4 months old. Danya wrote about our weight/height statistics, so I won’t repeat it. I can only say that I’m delighted that I produce enough milk to satisfy our little man! 
Arosha started rolling over consistently over the past few days. He only does it from back to tummy though, and I have to flip him the other way when he gets tired. He also tries to crawl, but does not have the strength to do it just yet. He smiles a lot, and even laughs from time to time. He cries much less than in the beginning, and takes longer naps during the day. He wakes up a few times at night still, but at least it takes much less effort to put him back to sleep after feeding him now than a few months back.
By the way, we received Arosha’s birth certificate in the mail right before going to our Shenandoah trip. This time around, it does not have any mistakes (first time they messed up the gender, and we had to refile). Too bad Amazon doesn’t have any books in Russian for Kindle (for the future, when Aaron will actually understand what it is I am reading).
Also, another bit of exciting news today is that my mom got a visa! She’ll come on December 16th (which is next week!) and will stay with us for 3 months. I am very happy with this development — I only saw my mom once during the last 8.5 years and miss her very much.

Your husband should be computer savvy enough to figure all that mombo jumbo out he doesn’t need a dumb a** machine gunner to tell him how to do things

Majority of you either forgot or never heard of this old Russian game (TV show) that is going to turn 50 next year, but Alena and I keep watching it still when we get a chance. Today we were watching the 2nd semi-final game of 2010 and this year at the end of last round each team was supposed to finish with a short video clip.

The new games get uploaded almost right away and the quality is very good (much better than the versions translated over local Russian TV).
Often there were registration-free torrent links, but in latest games you have to register on some sites, but it’s still free.

says:Not everything is good, but there is a lot of great stuff. Our favorite team is БАК (Краснодарский Край), but even they have weaker games sometimes. However some of their stuff is really great.
