It’s only 6pm local time here, but we’re wiped out. I’m laying in a bed in our El Paso hotel. Got one stamp today.

Sitting in the hotel bed in my new pj and drinking how tea with milk. So far my impression of El Paso is pretty dull.

Our vacation is going great. Right now we’re in Artesia, NM. Seen the caverns today — never seen anything like it. We’ve been taking pictures, but as always there is no time to post.

And today is our 2nd (cotton) anniversary. Thanks to Alex for the congratulations! You’re the only one who remembered (not including family). 1

What a great day! Driving through White Sands National Monument you get a feeling that a major snow storm just passed. Then you step out of the car and realize that you’re standing in the middle of a hot desert. 3

Today we drove from Las Cruces to Tucson. Near Tucson we visited Saguaro National Park which pretty much is a huge forest of different cacti including the huge Saguaro cactus. The overcast sky was the worst enemy of our photography. 1

We are in the middle of a trail in Organ Pipe Cactus NM. Awesome!

Today we drove from Tucson to Phoenix and saw even more cacti in Organ Pipe Cactus NM. The park is somewhat similar to Saguaro NP, but its main inhabitant is not Saguro, but Organ Pipe cactus. Who would have thought? )  0
