«Batman Begins»

We just finished watching the movie, again in preparation for the Dark Knight. I have seen it before on the plane and I guess I was half asleep. I never thought much of it, but after watching it again now I must say that it’s superb. The story, the acting, the plot, the action, the special effects — I’m impressed. (3)

Yeah, its a good one. I thought the first 1/2 was way better than the 2nd 1/2. Also the 4th 1/4 was weaker than the 1st-3rd 1/4. Still, cool movie. If you liked the awesome Gary Oldman, who played that policeguy that likes batman, see him in True Romance. You won’t believe it’s the same dude.

I’m pretty sure we saw it. I think he was really great in Leon: The Professional and Fifth Element.

And I was just thinking that not only special effects have improved, but the plot of the new batman is more sophisticated (less naive, transparent) than the plot of the older movie. O.o
