In an unexpected turn of events yesterday we’ve gotten ourselves a cool vacation coming up. You see, Eldar’s 25th birthday is coming up on July 24th. We were thinking of things that we could get him, but couldn’t really come up with anything. So I decided to call him up, and ask if there was anything he wanted. After refusing to comply and insisting that he needs nothing, he mentioned that it might be cool if we just came down to Boulder to hang out with him.

All in all, we ended up with a present for ourselves: 5 day vacation in Colorodo (we already have the plane tickets), with our good friend Eldar. Now the whole development was as unexpected for him, as it was for us, so I hope he was sure when he mentioned it. Like they say: be careful what you wish for.

I, for one, am very happy and I’m really looking forward to the trip!
