Shredding Before The Move

ShredderMore good news regarding the apartment: we already know the official closing date. It’s happening on April 26th, 2007, 10:30am. That’s the moment when we finally get our keys.

We’re planning to move as soon as possible. The big days will be the day of the closing (Thursday) and then Friday that comes right after. We have a LOT of stuff to move. It’s amazing how much stuff we managed to accumulate during the past 3 years. I’m worried about the small stuff which we have a lot of, and Alena is worried about that big stuff, which is heavy.

We started to dig out all the stuff from our closets, and found a lot of old bills, letters and all other kind of crap, with a lot of personal information. To combat that we bought a nice small heavy duty shredder from Staples. It’s going to be useful later on anyhow, so we figured ‘why not’.

Less then 2 weeks left, and now new, more pleasant headaches to deal with.

Желаю, чтобы все было ОК.
Да, хлопот много, но это приятные хлопоты )
У меня вещей немного меньше, чем у вас, но переезд всегда внушал какой-то ужас, хотя каждый раз заканчивался благополучно.
Для меня непряжнее всего всегда перевозить хрупкие вещи, т.к. их надо тщательно упаковывать ,чтобы не разбились.
Запасайтесь коробками и оборточной бумагой!
Машинка на фотке хороша )

And you shouldn’t worry about the small stuff, because well, you’ve got me again ) .

I am positive that it will be a piece of cake move,
really doubt that it will take more then 2 days. I’m actually thinking if you guys and gals prep up well we’ll be able to get it all done in one day, and day two will be for unpacking.

Dude, I’m totally counting on you! I also asked Moisha to take a day off, and I know that’s a LOT to ask. But if he can’t make it, I don’t know what we will do, since I’ve been having health problems with lifting stuff.

Worst case, maybe you can grab some friend, and we’d pay him or something.

And yeah, we’re planning to spend the next 2 weeks packing, and should be ready by the move day.
