Today I ended up with a bit of free time towards the end of the day, so I decided to try something new with the theme. I ended up liking it, so I have redone the whole thing. Basically the same design, new color scheme. I was getting really tired of the old thin stripes … so I guess I made new ones. 
Would love to hear your opinions on the new thing vs. the old thing, or just the new thing.

They are both pretty good, but I think the new one is a little better. The red and black is sleek and stylish. Good job.

Cool Design. I like it. One problem though, you got stripes on the red background and you got stripes on the grey background of the navigation menu. Problem is that they dont align, it drives me nuts

About the stripes - funny you should say that. I drives me nuts too.
The gray background aligns with the top, but the side bar and category headers don’t match. I probably can fix the side stripe rather easily, but I don’t know what I can do with the headers short of coming up with something new, or reversing the stripes in the other direction.
