Holidays are coming. This weekend is Christmas, next is New Year. We haven’t got any snow yet and I doubt that the weather will dramatically change in the next couple of weeks. For some reason my mood is totally not festive. We probably won’t even buy a Christmas Tree this season.
I’m done with school until the end of January. In another couple of weeks the college will post my grades on the esims site; so far I know two of them - English and Music (both are A).
We’re watching Star Trek: Enterprise now. The show got canceled after the 4th season due to poor ratings and was the first Star Trek show to meet this unfortunate end. The show isn’t that bad, especially if you don’t expect it to be anything more than Star Trek and look through the fingers on some inconsistencies in screenwriters’ logic. I find it relaxing and entertaining, even though it’s obviously weaker than other Star Treks (DS9, Voyager, The Next Generation). I can’t wait for the next Battlestar Galactica season to come out on DVD.
Artem’s wife Dasha got an American visa and will join us here soon (she is in Odessa now). I’m very happy for them. I think if she was less fortunate, he would go crazy by himself.
I can’t blame him, because I can’t imagine living for a long time in separation with Danya.
We’re still looking for an apartment to buy. We were considering one in Midwood area - it is in a very good condition and the price is affordable. The problem is that we’re not too crazy about the neighborhood (and windows in both the kitchen and the junior room are facing out walls of the other building). So we just need to keep looking.
