It’s been only a week since I’ve spent hours upon hours converting our old Blogger template to WordPress format, to be exactly pixel to pixel as it was, and it’s already history. Soon after the project was completed I started to really hate the look - after all, I think half the Blogger uses the very same generic template. I came up with a new task: full redesign of our blog template.
I wanted to have something custom, and not use some other popular template out there, and I wanted it to look good. I think I’ve succeeded, but we should wait for a week at least. Who knows what might happen.
Anyhow, our little picture motto remains true: every single pixel in every single image that you see on this site was made by us. What do you think about the new look? I would like to hear some opinions.

I, for one, give two thumbs up for the new look! It’s… fuzzier? No, that’s not it. Cleaner? Not quite… The simple fact that I cannot put my thumb on one thing, but am appreciating the renovation is a sign of good taste. Well done!
ps. I still don’t have a leaf yet! Why couldn’t you guys have waiting ONE MORE WEEK before you left?! =(

Jess, thanks for your comment. I adjusted the gamma a bit yesterday, to make it a bit less purple, more blue. Made the background for the side bar less “fuzzy”, so the text is more readable.
Also try mousing over the shadows in the header.
On the topic of the leaf: that really sucks. But I really couldn’t take it any more. The more I check the forums now the worse I feel. I seems to be that many things that we were working for are gone, and at this moment it has very little resemblance of what UGH was. Thebob is doing a good job, but I said it before and I’ll say it again: the democracy in situations like that just does not work, and it’s a wrong approach.
Hope you get your leaf soon. If things weren’t soul bound I could give you mine - I have one on the warrior.
