We all know that in today’s world of digital photography things do not end with a click of a camera. All professional images that end up in the magazines go through one kind of manipulation or the other. One of the best tools on the market is good old Photoshop.
To demonstrate, we picked a random photo of Alena and decided to do some minor editing. The only thing that we “touched” was skin.
Did you ever ask yourself how the models in the magazines manage to have a skin like they do? Alena says she did, and the answer is pretty obvious. But enough words, just look at the images and compare (click on the image to see it full size). Skin glares, dark circles under the eyes and all the minor skin imperfections are gone. Photoshop. It’s the best skin care product out there!

Other more tricky aspects include the lighting dynamics with her hair. There is an obvious sheen/glare in the hair, yet it looks as though Alena is wearing kabuki makeup (matte finish)! =D
And when are you guys going to send me more stuff???

I wish I could record some nice track on the guitar, but my attempts couple of days ago were horrible, so I deleted everything and need to try again. Eh, I wish I didn’t have to play, just sing…

Прочитала сейчас текст под фотками. Если честно, мне почему-то различия не сразу бросились в глаза : ) Уж прости. наверное я первую очередь обращаю внимание на другие вещи. Взгляд и общая мимика лица не заменит ничего. Порой даже на самый навороченных тетток на обложках глянцевых журналов смотреть в лучшем случае не интересно, т.к. они пусты, не святятся чем-то индивидуальным изнутри…

Эту фотку мы делали в Вегасе (октябрь 2005 года), ну как же взгляду не быть счаствливым в отпуске-то с любимым человеком? А вообще спасибо, я вовсе не исключение из правил и мне очень приятно, когда говорят что-то хорошее.
Мне вот тоже без челки больше нравится, хотя всю жизнь думала, что будет некрасиво.
