Оль, Нюркина песня в таком виде, как она есть, мне совсем не нравится (это была первая попытка записывать и мы еще не знали о существовании “capo” (не знаю, как по-русски это называется)). Но я попробую еще раз записать, не знаю только, сколько это у меня времени займет .

Anyhow… I saw the word capo, and that reminded me: you used a capo on the 3rd fret, right Alena? The website you sent me to that had the chords, well… they didn’t match what you were playing on the guitar! Not only that, but your axe was a 1/4step sharp! I had to transpose all my gear to match your tonality.

I noticed Kacheli was played at 148bpm the entire way through, which leads me to believe you were using a metronome (I could be wrong). But you should also invest in a chromatic tuner (the standard tuning is 440, by the way).

So… I can’t comment on the comments because I can’t read them, but I do have one thing to say:

Haha, Jess. The comment was actually from my old time friend Olga (we know each other since 1988). She asked for “Nurkina” song (I think we sent you the recording along with “Veter”). That’s the song that we used to sing together and she loves it, as do I actually .

I replied saying, that I don’t like the recording the way it is, because it was our first one and I didn’t have the capo (so accompaniment was too low for my voice). I’m going to try to rerecord it for her .

Btw, I have not clue what “your axe was a 1/4step sharp” means (I suspect that you’re trying to say that the guitar was a little bit out of tune), as well as how to use chromatic tuner. And – yes- I used metronome in slight hope that if you’d like the recording and will invest your time in it, it will make the experience less painful for you .

Мне тоже всегда ОЧЕНЬ нравилось, как ты поешь. Если Лена М. в большей стпени “брала” техничностью игры на гитаре и т.д., но ты просто покоряла душевностью и своим голосом. Помнится тогда в общежитии это было просто великолепно, а песню про верблюда я до сих пор помню : )
Эх, были времена…. Споешь мне что-нибудь, когда увидимся? (А я надеюсь, что все таки увидимся).
